For all of you that remember, Kromestar was the first ever artist to release on DEEP MEDi with his game changing ‘Kalawanji’. After a five year hiatus from the label Kromestar returns with help from Anti Social crew member Jay 5ive.
Kromestar & Jay 5ive have been busy collaborating on their own label ‘Bass & Love’ over the last year and it was these collaborations passed to Mala by Kromestar & Jay 5ive which brought about the release.
This four track EP showcases the diverse spectrum and energy that is created when these two producers clash in the studio. All four tracks are laced with a heavy dose of intergalactic herb especially the opener ‘Clearly Distorted’ with it’s wonky kick and rumbling bass, followed up by the deep laidback grooves on ‘Try Harder’, the hypnotic live double bass on ‘Words’ and the wall of sub that hits you hard on ‘Mind Pattern’, Pure vibes!
