Surus is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. While registration for the website requires you provide certain information by which you can be identified when using Surus, it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Surus takes privacy very seriously and does not share any personal information with any third party.

What information is collected?
Surus does not require any personal information for casual visitors to browse, but some basic personal information is required to open a personalised account, interact with other users and make purchases.Surus requires:

- Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
- Build a profile
- Create a customised music playlist
- Engage socially with artists and other users using Facebook and Twitter
- Internal record keeping
- whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

Surus does not sell, distribute or lease personal information to third parties unless we or are required by law to do so. Your personal information will not be updated by anyone apart from yourself, so Surus requests you amend your contact details if your personal circumstances change.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please log in to your account and amend your contact details. If you are experiencing problems in doing this, please contact the Surus team who will help amend your details.
