Not quite in time to challenge for the Christmas number one slot, Shackleton releases a new 12” on his own Woe To The Septic Heart label.
Whilst these tracks can be contrasted with previous 12”s by Shackleton on account of the use of various time-signatures and the move away from sample manipulation in favour of synthesis, those who have heard Shackleton's releases before will nevertheless not be surprised to hear tracks intended for the dance with an involved narrative, poly-rhythmic percussive elements and a psychedelic edge.
