Boreal kicks off in true Alaska fashion with vocal loops, deep bass subs, ambient horns and layers of swirling pads sending Boreal into ambient bliss, but it’s the breaks that turn the track on its head with it’s crunchy and heavy patterns that keep the head nodding and feet shuffling.
Isochime see’s Alaska return to his early Good Looking Records roots with it’s mesmerising pad swirls and guitar riffs. Sine wave bass notes take care of the bottom end and just when you think everything is relaxed along comes a powerful compressed Amen break thundering like a tornado that destroys anything in it’s path.
