Drums of Death is Colin Bailey, the Scottish swamp rave producer who hails from Glasgow but had his beating heart ripped out by a Haitian warlord and replaced with a broken drum machine. Donning voodoo facepaint, he burst onto the scene in 2008 with some fanfair around the release of his debut Drums of Death Steps Into The Ring EP. A front cover of iDJ magazine, remixes for Franz Ferdinand and Tricky and world tours with Hot Chip and Peaches quickly followed and Bailey wrapped up the first decade of the 21st century with the release of his debut album Generation Hexed.
