With an interest sparked at a young age by the ‘liquid’ sounds d & b and artists such as Calibre, Marky, XRS and Artificial Intelligence, Diamond EyE starts his quest within the scene. During these formative years he has notched up releases with Fokuz, Mr Joseph’s Fizzy beats, Manifesto and Inperspective recording alongside head honcho Chris INP. His output via MJAZZ has included ‘Temple Dub’ on the Modernists 2 LP, a stunning take on Justice’s classic ‘Aquisse’ and a remix of ‘Sand delay’ for Justice/Metro 839 LP. Fast forward and we find the 23 year old North Londoner making a sophisticated, mature music which far out ways his years, the culmination of which makes up his debut LP ‘ Moments in life’.
This project has received support from Stunna, Loxy, Gremlinz, Muted, Spindall, Ash-A-Tak, Mr Joseph, Dave Owen, Lee, Flight, Bailey, Laurent Garnier and Gappa G.
