Discovered very early in their careers by DJ Presha, the two Sam’s were signed to Samurai Red Seal as core artists in a long term development deal. It has taken a few years to get to the point where we have this debut release fully polished and ready, but as you will hear the wait has been worth it. These 2 producers have quickly formed a very distinctive style that has been drawing fans in their droves. As well as many general fans of Drum and Bass music, their eager fanbase boasts name DJ’s and established producers before they have ever had a fully available product to purchase. ‘Introducing Tokyo Prose’ brings stylish swagger and musical substance to a scene overflowing with identical bare boned rollers. Gliding between minimal ambience and deep soulful steppers, these gifted young men aptly display their knack for sample selection and unique groove building.
